INVISALIGN
Invisalign is the clearest way to straighten teeth, using clear aligners. Aligners are removable and virtually invisible, which means you can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing; and you can still eat and drink what you want. Also, you can brush and floss normally to maintain healthy gums and teeth. Our doctors will determine if Invisalign is right for you. Dr. David Chenin is a world renowned researcher on the Invisalign System and lectures regularly at University of the Pacific in San Francisco and NYU Dental School in New York. Dr. Chenin had a wonderful opportunity to oversee Invisalign’s first clinical trial after which he was offered the unique experience to serve as Align’s Senior Clinical Quality Manager. For over four years in this position, he supervised the inspection of over 50,000 Invisalign cases, directed numerous software and research development efforts, and published the first clinical article on Invisalign in the Journal of the American Dental Association in 2003. Recently, Dr. Chenin co-authored the definitive textbook on Invisalign titled The Invisalign System and is publishing his orthodontic master’s thesis titled The Inter-clinician Variability of Invisalign ClinChecks. Dr. Chenin was one of the first doctors in Nevada to provide Invisalign to his patients. Chenin Orthodontics is the premier practice to receive Invisalign treatment.
HOW DOES INVISALIGN WORK?
- Wear each set of Aligners for about two-three weeks
- Remove only to eat, drink, brush and floss
- Your teeth will move gradually each week
- Visit us every 6-10 weeks
- Average number of Aligners is between 15 and 35
- Total treatment time averages 12-24 months - similar to braces
