Dr. David Chenin is one of the most experienced Invisalign doctors in the world. He oversaw Invisalignʼs very first clinical trials, then spent more than five years at Align Technology as the companyʼs Senior Clinical Quality Manager, where he personally supervised the inspection of more than 50,000 Invisalign cases. He published the first clinical article on Invisalign in the Journal of the American Dental Association, and he co-authored the definitive textbook on the subject, The Invisalign System. He still lectures on Invisalign at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco and at NYU Dental School in New York, and heʼs one of roughly 35 doctors across the U.S. and Canada hand-selected for the Invisalign Clinical Studies Network.

How Invisalign Works
Your Invisalign journey starts with a complimentary consultation and a digital scan of your teeth. No goopy impressions. From that scan, your orthodontist maps out the exact movement of every tooth, so you can often see a preview of your future smile before you ever start.
Youʼll wear each set of clear aligners for about one to two weeks, around 20 to 22 hours a day, taking them out only to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush. Each new set picks up where the last left off, nudging your teeth a little closer to where they belong. Youʼll stop by our Henderson or Summerlin office now and then so your orthodontist can check your progress and hand off your next sets.
When your aligners come off, a retainer keeps your new smile right where you worked so hard to put it. Your orthodontist will walk you through exactly how and when to wear it.
Invisalign Teen
Being a teenager is busy enough without feeling self-conscious about braces. Invisalign Teen fits into a teenʼs life beautifully. No bracket showing up in prom photos, school pictures, or posts online, and no sitting out the foods and activities they love.
Treatment starts working with the very first set of aligners, so teeth get straighter and healthier as the weeks go by. Built-in wear indicators help everyone stay on track, and replacement aligners are part of the plan, because real life with teens happens.
